Georgios X. Protopapas  is International Relations Specialist

He is Strategic Analyst, greek  prestigious printed monthly Magazine Defense & Diplomacy (ΑΜΥΝΑ & ΔΙΠΛΩΜΑΤΙΑ ) (since 2012),  Sr. Data Analyst at Paloservices (since 2014) and  Member of the Advisory Board at  Modern Diplomacy.eu,  an english- speaking journal  (since 2017) .

George is also member, International Institute for Middle East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES) based on Ljubljana, Slovenia.

He has been Journalist – Foreign Desk Editor at the Greek  weekly political and financial newspaper “The Investor” (ΕΠΕΝΔΥΤΗΣ) from 2000 until  2014

George  participates as speaker in various  international scientific conferences ,   including  NATO, and writes papers and articles  in international and Greek  media.

He has studied European Studies, University of Hertfordshire (UK) and has pursued postgraduate studies in International Relations, University of Kent (UK).

His  research interests focus on the issues of foreign policy, geopolitics, diplomacy, energy, terrorism, energy security and public diplomacy.

George also analyses the Greek Internet & Social Media Trends (analytics) for policy, economy, diplomacy,  trade, entrepreneurship and international and social affairs, based on the study of  quantitative and especially of qualitative data (content analysis) of PaloPro, a web & social listening & analytics tool.

He is also specialised on the analytics of political parties and public figures,  as well as  in the  political internet communication.

George is also co-author with Nikos Arvavites of the greek book “In social MEDIA RES “which analyses the trends of  the greek online  public opinion  (social media, sites, opinions, blogs, forums)  for  “hot ” issues of politics, economy,  diplomacy and social and international affairs,.

George continues to advance his skills on the analysis of Social and Digital Media.  He obtained a  Digital Marketing Diploma ,Center of Entrepreneurship Development & Innovation (KEAK) a Certificate in Driving Digital and Social Media Strategy, Center of Entrepreneurship Development & Innovation (KEAK) and a  Certificate in Social Media, The European Institute of Communications (Ireland).
