Georgios X. Protopapas  is Strategic & Social Media Analyst.

He is  Social Media Analyst at Paloservices , Senior Analyst, Geopolitics and International Diplomacy  at the Greek  prestigious printed monthly Magazine Defense & Diplomacy (ΑΜΥΝΑ & ΔΙΠΛΩΜΑΤΙΑ – established 1989)  and Member of the Advisory Board at  Modern Diplomacy.eu  an english- speaking journal .He has been Journalist – Foreign Desk Editor at the Greek prestigious weekly political and financial newspaper “The Investor” (ΕΠΕΝΔΥΤΗΣ) from 2000 until  2014

George analysing the Social Media Data for policy, economy, diplomacy,  trade, entrepreneurship and international and social affairs, based on the study of  quantitative and especially of qualitative data (content analysis) of PaloPro, a web & social listening & analytics tool.

He is also specialised on the analysis of the brand of political parties and public figures, as well as  in the  political internet communication.

George is also co-author with Nikos Arvavites of the greek book “In social MEDIARES “which analyses the trends of  the greek online  public opinion  (social media, sites, opinions, blogs, forums)  for  “hot ” issues of politics, economy,  diplomacy and social and international affairs,.

George continues to advance his skills on the analysis of Social and Digital Media via vocational certifications.  He obtained a  Digital Marketing Diploma ,Center of Entrepreneurship Development & Innovation (KEAK) a Certificate in Driving Digital and Social Media Strategy, Center of Entrepreneurship Development & Innovation (KEAK) and a  Certificate in Social Media, The European Institute of Communications (Ireland).
George as international relations specialist  participated as speaker in various  international scientific conferences and has published papers and articles  in English and greek journals and media. He has studied European Studies, University of Hertfordshire (UK) and has pursued postgraduate studies in International Relations, University of Kent (UK).

His  research interests focus on the issues of social media, foreign policy, geopolitics, international diplomacy, energy, terrorism, energy security and public diplomacy.
